A versatile vocal artist & songwriter with a unique voice and style, San Francisco based Devika is known for her soulful performances in 'Kehnde Ne Naina', 'Barkha Bahaar', 'Tujhse Naraaz Nahin', 'Kothay Uttay' and collaborations like ‘Phir Ek Tera Pyar’, 'Ek Tera Pyar', 'Dil, 'Beparwah' with Bohemia and ‘Jaaniya’ with Sarod duo Amaan Ali Bangash & Ayaan Ali Bangash. Her genre is best described as Contemporary Indian, she fuses Hindustani classical and Indian folk melodies with a western, contemporary music production. She has performed on various Sufi, Pop & Hip-Hop tracks and collaborated with many artists & producers in the US & India.

She has been featured on several top-selling albums including Sony’s Teri Deewani & Sufiaana – The Complete Sufi Experience and Saregama’s Colours - Sufi Ke Anek Rang featuring other artists such as Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Kailash Kher, Rabbi Shergill, A.R. Rahman and others. Her tracks have been featured on the Barbara Mori film Spanish Beauty.

She is also the first Indian vocalist to be featured on Apple’s iMovie in the Bollywood trailer and her tracks have been featured on Buddha Bar, iTunes playlists like Love at First Sight, The A List – Indian Pop, as well as on playlists like Raga Lounge on Spotify.

Her track Jab Se Piya created in collaboration with electronic music producer Holmes Ives was submitted for the Best Global Music Performance Grammy award, and also remixed by Karsh Kale, Midival Punditz and Bombay Dub Orchestra . It was distributed by the iconic Six Degrees Records label. The Bombay Dub Orchestra remix has been featured on Buddha Bar XXIII by DJ Ravin.
